Pak Media Alert (PMA)

Pak Media Alert aims to expose the well organized secular media campaign of hate and deceit launched against Muslims in general and Pakistan in specific. It aims to deal with those media secularists (God-haters, Islam-haters and Pakistan haters) whose sole task in life is to demonize the state of Pakistan and its Islamic ideology; invent falsehood against it; debase Islamic scriptures and beliefs – criticize Pakistan’s two-nation theory in relation to Islam by taking it out of its historical and textual context; twist, lie, manipulate and misrepresent all that there is to know about this great religion and country.

These intellectual Pakistan-haters relentlessly accuse state personalities like Jinnah and Iqbal, for being dubious and secular in nature, fully realizing that they tend to be the fundamental personalities on which the nation of Pakistan was founded. Their (secularists) tact employed skillfully to create hatred against the state leadership (whether democratic or military) amongst the public and hence question the very concept of Pakistan. Adding to our miseries, secular media is not the only factor in explaining the woeful state of our country, but is the key factor for the macabre plight of the state’s body politic.

This blog attempts to reveal how issues are framed and topics chosen by these secular ‘fanatics’, and contrasts their double standards underlying accounts of ‘Religion Hate’ and ‘Anti-State’ sentiments. It also tends to shed light on the secular-progressive media movement in our country for exactly what it is, to explain why it is so harmful for Pakistan, and to identify the movement’s top leaders.  It is surprising to understand how easily these secular fascists have made headway to our country and are goading the public mind against the Pakistani state and its religion, Islam.

Furthermore these secular media powers-that-be and their political surrogates tend to fabricate facts and realities explaining perfectly well how the anti-state and anti-Islamic hypocrisy has achieved its objectives in Pakistan.  With the ‘elite’ secular class not only governing media but also exerting a dominating influence over other factions, it tends to base manufactured hate-strategies on the assumption that stupid masses (which Noam Chomsky categorizes as `the bewildered herd’) are too dumb and incompetent to really understand their own interests. Only the small-elite, the decision makers, can understand the common interest and this is where the passive word ‘secular’ turns into an active action verb.

This blog primarily draws its references and enunciations from the leading secular English dailies of Pakistan that brilliantly propagate state and religion hate using disinformation, falsification of history, and marginalization of dissident opinion.  What emerges from this work is an account of just how propagandistic the secular media in Pakistan has been, and how we can learn to read them and see their function in a radically new way. On the basis of the facts put forward in this blog, any reasonable and rational reader can easily come to the conclusion that there is a secular ‘specter’ haunting Pakistan conveying the message that Pakistan has no right to live as a nation and it needs to rewrite history and revise its geographical boundaries to arrive at its former (and much ‘cherished’) status of being regarded as the Indian Subcontinent rather than the ‘failed’ Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This is by all means an ominous threat to the nation’s security and by and large tries to undo what our former leaders and state icons have sacrificed for.  Last but not the least the book seeks to create an awareness about the secular threat within general masses by large and requests those who love this country and are responsible for making decisions, to take stern action against these ‘anti-state’ terrorists who seem to be gnawing at the very roots of the nation cherishing their dream of reuniting Pakistan with what it was before partition.

It is hoped that this blog achieves its objectives and hence acts as an eye-opener to those who falsely believe in that which is pushed down their throats.

We are citizens of a state, with a geographical boundary enjoying our separate identity with the state providing security to our interests; it is time that we safeguard our state from the secular fascists, for without a state … there is no nation!

I cannot believe that all this is happening in Pakistan which claims to be an Islamic Republic… Why havent our people detected such propaganda in our press… we should have zero tolerance against these anti islamic media activities… but i guess at the same time these media groups are feeding the government and state bodies money to keep their mouth shut!

I find it almost laugh-worthy that you think that the media is a secular enterprise in Pakistan. Our entire social and political discourse is Islamic. The ultimate authority on anything is the Quran, and no one dare question it. There are plenty of 24 hour religious channels spewing far more propaganda than a measly op-ed in an English daily that is read by 1 per cent of people in Pakistan.

Yes, the English print media is a little more liberal with its views than an average Pakistani. And some of us are glad that a liberal voice can be heard in Pakistan. Are you going to deny a section of Pakistani society the right to be called Pakistani because they don’t adhere to your morality?

Pakistan may not have meant to be a secular country, but it was meant to be a democracy. And in a democracy everybody has the freedom to voice opinion, without it being labeled ‘Treason’.

    Live and let live.

P.S I suggest you read Ejaz Haider’s (who you have yet to label a secular bigot) recent op-ed’s in the Daily Times. I think you’d have a field day.

Hiba, what you say about freedom of speech etc is true.
But do you honestly still belive all this after the so called “Pakistani” Mumbai terror attacks. How are neighbours instantly turned against us?
The partition happened for a reason. All our ancestors sacrficied their lives, peace and comfort for a very good reason. We take it all for granted because years and decades later, we can relax in our homes, and simply destroy the system and country they fought for!

Indeed, maybe the TFT and such are read only by a few literate 1% as you say, ..but that literate 1% is the ‘elite’ class thats controlling the end game. Do you actually pretend to think it matters what the lower classes think.. Of course theyve all put a terrorist pig like Zardari in office but they can never influence what happens now. Its all in the hands of the non existent “Democracy’ now. Salman Taseer, Zardari, and the like who’re going to sell out conutry to the devil. Just to be able to drink, enjoy, and party more freely, these traitors despise the partition and ignore the blood that was given by their own brothers for it.
Oh and tell me! Why is it that when someone speaks against Islam or Pakistan, its considered being liberal..And enjoying your right to “Freedom of Speech”…To the extent that people laugh and make fun of Islamic beliefs or even those who peacefully follow their religion. But on the other hand, when an Islamic person talks against changes in culture, media attacking Islam, ..its considered attacking freedom?… Do you really think its living and letting live if chilled out ‘liberals’ constantly attack Islamic ‘radicals’ through the pen and speech.??? The word and power of the pen are after all the strongest. Dont underestimate the power of media especially when the minds of those controlling it are infested with intolerance for those different from them. Thankyou for reading.

In response to MP on March 12, 2009:

Pakistan was found by a secular person and he was not an “islamist”: he drank Sherry, smoke, slept with women (including his own sis) and delivered a lecture on Aug 14 1947. Read that! Iqbal (basically he was IBLIS) was the person who wrote Sarey jahaan sey achha Hindosta hamara….hum bulbuleyn hain iski yeh ghulshitan hamara…and when his ass ruptured he left that Ghulshitan and flew to napakistan. Further Pakistan discriminated against Bengalese and they left us. After that Sindhi, Balochi and Pathan were/are discriminated by these Punjabi thugs and we Balochi and Pathan are going to repeat 1971. Where is “brave” poky army who surrendered shamelessly before Indian soldiers? We pathans are mocked in Pakistan but given due respect in India. Just see Hindi cinema and you will find how Pathan character is shown…a brave, confident, loyal and a bigger-than-life.
Iq-bal (basically he was a Jhant-ka-baal) who was a homo and Al-qaeda-Azam enjoyed Fatima. How good he was just seeing that his daughter Dina married a Parsee. So long live poky pigs…keep on barking and wait for pakhtoonistan and Azad Baluchistan…..

I am overjoyed that I found this site. Pakistani English media is a wilderness where live the antiIslam and anti-Pakistan wolves. These are just carbon copies of “The Hindu” and “Times of India.”
