Friday Times Challenging Islamic Morals

FAULT LINES EXPOSED!!!

What does it aim at?

·         Project such youths that flaunt Islamic morals.

·         Encourage drinking and free sex

·         Help people shed their moral reservations

·         This should pave the way for anti-Pakistan secularism.

Farhat Haq of the Friday Times Categorizes Islam as a “Discursive System”

FAULT LINES EXPOSED!!!

What does the write-up say?

·         The Friday Times questions Islam’s abiding character as the only Truth!

·         Islam is not revelation-based but borrowed and made up

·         Islam does not aim at creating an Ummah of Muslim people but different cultures

After making this apostatic statement, it gives its assertion the color of scholarship. Which recent scholarship, it dares not disclose

Why is Islam under assault in Pakistan, a Muslim country? The answer is simple provided one understands: Islam creates Muslims as well as gives them strength, dynamics and enterprise. Dilute its hold on Pakistan and the state withers. Thus, the secular agenda to de-Islamize Pakistan has its supporters in India and elsewhere.

Shakir Hussain of the Friday Times Calls Muslim Beliefs as “Deprived,” “Depraved” & “Psychotic”

FAULT LINES EXPOSED:

·         The Friday Times does not like people considering India as an arch enemy [yes, embrace the devil for all the “good things” he is doing to you]

·         Our support to the Kashmiri Muslims is a hateful idea. [The Friday Times would like to see Kashmir stay with India. Or, it may become independent. But in no case Pakistan must have it. A large geographical mass is only good for India, not Pakistan.]

·         Push readers to do “fun” things such as sex and liquor. Those who abide by a disciplined life they are named as “depraved and psychotic.” [If families are destabilized through free sex, men running away with other women and women sleeping with men other than their husbands, there is nothing wrong – everything has to be enjoyed in the name of “fun.” Forgetting that these are not funny things – there is a price tag to them.]

·         According to Shakir Hussain’s theory Muslims who stand true to the Islamic belief of not drinking and going to dance parties are “depraved,” “deprived” and “psychotic”

The Crux of the Matter

Not pro-India proclivities with emphasis on free sex. Once Islam’s hold on society is broken through sex, and people are secularized, merger with India becomes easy. The symbiosis is obvious.

Questions to the Journalists of Pakistan?

·         Would the above piece be characterized as a true representation of Journalism in Pakistan?

·         Does your Journalist Lobby stand for Friday Times or for “depraved,” “deprived” and “psychotic” Islam?

Friday Times’ Khaled Ahmed & V. S. Naipaul Call Pakistan “A Criminal Enterprise”

FAULT LINES EXPOSED!!!

·         Friday Times agrees with Naipaul – a congenial hater of Muslims – that Pakistan is a criminal enterprise. If it had not, it would not have borrowed from Naipaul and captioned it as such

·         The journal agrees with Naipaul’s convoluted thinking and calls his testimony as faultless

·         Islam is barren [never mind the hypocrisy of our establishment and the secularists’ hate for it].

Why doesn’t the Friday Times tell his readers that during the past 53 yeas, exception allowed, Islam haters were in power. That Pakistan’s shrinkage took place because of the secular parties – PPP and Awami League who conspired together to cause it.

Under Fire – Friday Times Calls Ramadan as the Month of Hypocrisy, Lethargy & Indolence!

FAULT LINES EXPOSED!!!

What does the above write-up show?

·         The expression “arch enemy” India is used as a taunt and ridicule – this means there is no enemy in reality; some fanatics have cooked it up.. Here is a method in madness: encourage people to give up their reservations on India and to lower their resolve. It is a well designed effort with the intention to help India against Pakistan.

·         Second, there is an attempted twist to link fasting with lethargy and indolence. Does the Friday Times mean that the Muslims who observe fast in Pakistan close their businesses and offices during Ramadan? And what mileage is Friday Times getting out of it except for cooking up false links and degrading Islam.

·         Third, fasting by implication is an act of hypocrisy and so is the concern for good behavior. But going to India for making obscene gestures to arouse their sexuality is a “pious” deed. Is there an end to perversity?

·         According to this journal, gyrating buttocks, seducing audiences, and “having a good time” is a high moral act in the month of Ramadan. Probably the editor of Friday times wants to conjure up images of his personal fantasies and project them into the minds of the readers!

Friday Times Asks Women To Have Extra Marital Relations!!!

EXCERPT

Some time back I read a fatwa by some alim that the men landing in paradise will get houris and ghilman while the women will only get their husbands. I am deeply distressed since then. I have put up with my husband as a good Muslim wife all these years so that I could go to paradise and partake of the above-mentioned pleasures, but the fatwa has shattered my dreams. Why cant I also have ghilmans…(I am not bothered about houris because I am not into alternate life styles). If, even after going to paradise, I have to content with my husband then it makes a very good case for opting for hell. Please help me resolve this because I don’t want to die an apostate.

Yours disillusioned wife

[Answer]

Since all women are doomed to go to hell anyway, what’s your problem? Come on women, shake a leg. Get on with your earthly desires pronto but make sure that your husband doesn’t catch you in the act. If he does, you’ll get to hell faster than you have bargained for.

FAULT LINES EXPOSED!!!

This letter of a “disillusioned” women (probably a fictitious one) has been used to set up a new social agenda:

·         Women are being told to have extra-marital relations through ‘earthly desires’, Worse! it also promotes adultery and fornication!

·         Keep it secret so that they are not caught. The contrive message has the following ramifications as well:

·         It tells the women that since they are already destined to hell [wonder how?]; so why bother? Give liberal expressions to your sexual urge.

·         Husband-Wife relationship is degraded as the disillusioned wife seems it difficult to digest her distaste about being “content with my husband” even in paradise!

·         It also hits on Islam as an oppressive religion in which women’s destiny is hell and nothing less…

Can the Pakistani Journalist Lobby attest to the above as being fair and true media?

Friday Times Degrades Pakistan Using RAW’s Women!!!

EXCERPT

I am in a real blind. You see I am a die-hard nationalist with an active libido. Lately I read this news that Indian RAW has infiltrated a large group of very beautiful women entrap Pakistani men and glean state secrets from them. The news about the beautiful women ready to jump into the sack really turned me on, but the nationalist streak cautions me against falling prey to their charms. The conflict is getting to me and I don’t know what to do. How can I enjoy these women without betraying my country. Please advise.

Yours confused nationalist

[Answer]

As a fire-brand nationalist, it does not behove you to fall into RAW’s clutches. You must therefore control your raw passions by starting to say your prayers regularly. In the meantime, could you please pass, on the name and address of the beautiful RAQ agents to the edtor of TFT so that he can personally check out the dangers that lurk therein.

FAULTLINES EXPOSED!!!

·         Nationalism is ridiculed and so are the Muslim prayers (salah) – both are seen as an obstruction to “enjoy these women”

·         Lewdness is encouraged by spreading sex without marital obligation.

·         Giving out signals to encourage foreign powers employ this methodology to “glean state secrets”

·         Degrading Pakistan at the hands of RAW – Humiliating Pakistanis to fall prey to a handful of women to reveal state secrets

Such pieces are contrived, mostly in letter-form to carryout the newspaper or magazine’s social agenda.

Is there no end to such false and cooked up stories to degrade military institutions and security agencies in Pakistan?

Friday Times Calling for Moral Free Attitudes

FAULT LINES EXPOSED!!!

·         This piece is not only poor in taste but also vandalizes our social values by encouraging moral-free attitudes

·         It also suggests that a Pakistani Muslim woman can marry a non-Muslim

·         That we should feel proud at this mismatch.

Pakistan On The Even of New Millenium – Najam Sethi’s Pro Indian Speech

Najam Sethi’s Speech in India

Fault Lines Exposed!!!

What does Sethi’s Speech in India Say?

Islam is a false ideology and so is the Muslim consciousness. The Ideology that matters is economy.

Sethi gives advice to India: don’t flex your muscles against Pakistan as you will get a similar response. If you want a great power status in South Asia, integrate your economy with Pakistan. Once it becomes dependent, you can eat the whole hog.

The Clear and the Manifest

Both points are interlocked making a sly formula for finishing Pakistan. The underlying concern is the Muslim consciousness, which seeks space for expression and hence  geographical and political independence. Muslim consciousness is thus antagonistic to merger with non-Muslim (secular) consciousness. So what should be done? Sethi offers solution: substitute Islamic consciousness with economic consciousness. Pakistanis will loose drive as an independent people and will get lost in the India continent.

Second, Sethi wants India to discard the warpath with Pakistan because that arouses the fighter in the Pakistani psyche. Instead, he suggests the route of economic integration. A Pakistan dependent on India will be unable to resis or fight back.

Sethi received a lot of flak from the Pakistanis on calling Pakistan a failed state. But neither ISI, which hosted him in the comfortable surroundings of Islamabad, not the Nawaz government, which was settling score with him on personal grounds, bothered to read his infamous speech in India. Sethi’s speck was a recipe for eliminating Pakistan. He could have been sentenced to 8 years in prison under section 123-A Pakistan Penal Code. But who cares! The courts are concerned about their contempt and the politicians about their projection in the print media, as if all else is banality. Their attitude almost says “Hell to Pakistan!”

Friday Times Helps Us to Lose Our Pakistani Identity

We Are All Converts

by Amitava Kumar

[The writer marries a Pakistani Muslim girl and writes about his conversation]

“Safdar, how did your parents take the news of your conversion?”

It was difficult for me to tell her that I had never thought that I had converted.

I think nani [the Muslim girl’s grandmother] knew that I did not think of myself as a Muslim…

During my visit to Karachi, a boy I met first apologized for posing a personal question, and then asked me if I had converted. I repeated to him the lines of poetry my friend Ajai Singh had writte in Lucknow: “Mian Aadha Hindu Hoon, Adha Musalman Hoon / Main Poora Hindustan Hoon (I am half a Hindu, half a Muslik / I am all of India)” I told the boy about nani calling me Safdar. I was also the one who responded to the name I’ve had since I was a boy. I wasn’t only one or the other; I was prepared to be both….

Pakistani writer Intizar Hussain says: “I’m a Muslim, but I always feel there is a Hindu sitting inside me. I still feel I’m an exile who wanders between Karbala and Ayodhya’. Born in India, Hussain migrated to Pakistan post-partition. I was struck by the beauty of his words, and his sense of sublime rootlessness.

FAULTLINES EXPOSED

·         Friday Times picked up this piece from an Indian journal Outlook. A Hindu male has married a Pakistani girl who is incidentally related to both Asma Jehangir and General Musharraf. How nice!

·         To marry the girl named Mona, the man poses as if he has embraced Islam. But he makes a straight confession that he hasn’t.

·         The Friday Times highlights Intizar Hussain’s saying in which he talks of being a Muslim with a Hindu sitting inside him.

·         Here again one can see the campaign for a psychological union of the Pakistanis and Indians – a prelude to merger. It is the same theme that the Indians repeat hundred times a day that “we are one, you were Hindus, you became Muslims, though we are all Indians.”
