Hasan Mujtaba of Newsline Destroys the Soul of Sindh

The Soul of Sindh

by Hasan Mujtaba

After quenching the thirst of the plains and the desert I am leaving

Oh Sindh, Goodbye to you,

Oh India, Goodbye to you,

Goodbye to you my life for there was a whole world compressed within you.

FAULTLINES EXPOSED

This is another example of subversive writings of our elite secular press:

·         It speaks of Sheikh Ayaz in secular frame who wrote against the creation of Pakistan as a conspiracy of the British. Reference his Sufaid Wehshi and his poem O baaghi

·         It also speaks of Ayaz as the “poet of the past, present, and future of Sindh.”

·         As a summation, it gives Ayaz’s farewell song which is pro-India:

“…I am leaving

Oh Sindh, goodbye to you

Oh India, goodbye to you”

Why would the Newsline publish material against Pakistan and project India?

Does it feel any responsibility toward their country?

Is Newsline fulfilling some obligation towards India that we Pakistanis don’t know of?

True, Ayaz has been writing such works but why did the Newsline withheld this information from its readers that in his late years he returned to Islam and felt sorry for his past life.
